The first step in your Custom IntraLASIK procedure involves patient education. For patients who were unable to attend a seminar and for those who just have more questions they would like to discuss, our Patient Education Coordinators will meet with you for a full consultation. The consultation will take approximately the first 15 minutes of your evaluation. Patient Education Coordinators spend a great deal of time answering questions about refractive surgery. These specialists are highly experienced with refractive surgery so they not only relate to your situation, but can address any questions or concerns.

After performing thousands of LASIK procedures, we stand by the philosophy that there is no substitute for a thorough, comprehensive eye examination using a blend of common medical sense and the latest diagnostic technologies to determine the health and candidacy of your eyes.
In planning the time for your evaluation, keep in mind contact lenses cannot be worn prior to the evaluation or procedure. We keep with the following guidelines: Soft Contact Lenses – discontinue wearing them 1 week prior to your examination and surgery. Hard or Gas-Perm Contact Lenses – discontinue wearing them three weeks prior to your examination and surgery.
