ReZoom® Lens - "Premium Intraocular Lens" Serving Dallas / Fort Worth, Texas Patients
Our Irving office serves our patients in the Dallas / Fort Worth, Texas area with the ReZoom® lens. The ReZoom® similar to the ReSTOR® lens acts like two lenses in one. The ReZoom Lens is made of a series of circular ring areas that are dedicated to focusing either at far or at near. This multi focus capability allows more consistent results and more satisfied patients who can enjoy activities like reading, writing, and playing cards all without the hassle of reading glasses, bifocals, progressive lenses, or contact lenses. Because the ReZoom® lens doesn’t work with the muscles of the eye, it is not dependent on a mechanical process or the movement of the lens to give clear vision.
In presbyopic patients or patients with a cataract the ReZoom implant may be used in one eye for the best intermediate vision (computer distance approx 20 inches) and often in the fellow eye the ReSTOR is used for better near reading capability at about 12 to 13 inches. Both the ReZoom® and ReSTOR® focus at distance and also compliment one another for closer work at intermediate and near. This combination allows for a seamless continuum from distance to near with all distances in between.
