Our Irving office serves our patients in the Dallas / Fort Worth, Texas area with the ReSTOR® lens. The ReSTOR® lens acts like two lenses in one. One is a refractive lens that is for distance vision, and the other focuses near vision by using a special set of graduated (apodized) rings in the center of the implant. ReSTOR® gives more consistent results and greater satisfaction to patients, who now can enjoy activities like reading, writing, and playing cards with minimal to no need of glasses. Because the ReSTOR® lens doesn’t work with the muscles of the eye, it is not dependent on a mechanical process or the movement of the lens to give clear vision.
