Dr. Andrew Pazandak, M.D.’s Experience with Glaucoma
Dr. Pazandak earned a B.A. in Biology at Washington University in 2009, then went on to complete medical school at the University of Texas School of Medicine at San Antonio in 2014. He continued his training through an internship at the Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans; an Ophthalmology residency at Louisiana State University; and a Glaucoma Fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
Before joining as one of the lead surgeon’s at Tylock-George Eye Care team, Dr. Pazandak worked as a cataract surgeon and Glaucoma specialist in St. Louis, Missouri. In medical school he was a published research assistant and teaching assistant and was involved in developing and publishing several research papers. He’s also taught others in the eye care field, both in formal classrooms and as a special guest presenter.
Dr. Pazandak Comes From A Long History Of Medicine
Growing up around his father’s Ophthalmology practice, Dr. Pazandak followed in his footsteps and pursued his passion for Ophthalmology. Throughout his medical journey, Dr. Pazandak has earned a collection of awards and memberships: for instance, during his Ophthalmology Residency at Louisiana State University, Dr. Pazandak was recognized as Chief Resident, and he was also a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society at the University of Texas School of Medicine. 
Dr. Pazandak was featured as a Top Doctor in Living Magazine’s March 2023 issue.
