Dr. Gary Tylock, M.D.’s Experience in LASIK Field?
As part of his pioneering efforts, Dr. Tylock became a clinical investigator evaluating safety and efficacy as he built one of the country’s first excimer lasers in 1996, being granted an IDE approval from the FDA, designed specifically for the LASIK procedure. This early involvement with his excimer laser and the FDA played a critical role in helping establish LASIK as the procedure of choice among both doctors and patients.
Today, Dr. Tylock utilizes the WaveLight® Refractive Suite Laser system – currently, the most advanced FDA approved system for LASIK treatment – to provide laser vision correction to his patients in the convenience of his on-site laser suite in a facility near Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas. Dr. Tylock was the first surgeon in the entire state of Texas to obtain this cutting edge technology and was one of the first surgeons in the world to offer IntraLASIK (an all-laser surgical approach using the FS200 IntraLase® Laser). Dr. Tylock’s dedication to eye care and commitment to the latest technological advancements in laser vision correction have continuously been unsurpassed, and consequently, he is regarded as one of the best LASIK surgeons in the country.
